A private move on this route is rarely just a truck. One home has to be empty on a set day. The other key often arrives a few days later. In between: floors without a lift, a courtyard in Budapest, a no-parking zone, and the question of where the sofa spends the night if the dates do not match.
Who it is for
Households moving in full: couples, families, people on their own. Typical is a three- to five-room home, a kitchen that has to come apart, and a cellar nobody mentions at the start. We ask about the cellar.
What the job includes
- Survey on site or by video
- A written fixed price for the agreed route
- Protection for floors and doorways
- Packing and assembly if you add them
- A German-speaking person at loading and unloading
- An inventory before departure
- Storage if there is a gap between the homes
What changes the price
Not the postcode alone. Carrying distance, floor, lift size, whether we pack, and whether the destination has a courtyard or a narrow panel-block cabin. That is why the price follows the survey.
Short routes, such as Vienna to Budapest, can run in one day. A full home from Hamburg or Berlin gets an honest window. The furniture spends the night properly secured rather than inside a promise the motorway will not keep.
